About Prudentia Christian Co-op
Prudentia Christian Co-op or PCC is a Classical tutoring program that meets only once a week, on Mondays. PCC tutors will assign reading and classwork to be done at home with the student's parent as the primary teacher. We are not a school. We are a cooperative community that strives to assist and encourage parents to teach from home, classically. Our commitment is to serve the Lord first, our own families second, and then to serve one another at PCC. As a cooperative and tuition-based academic community, we want to be very open about our unique set-up.

Parent Involvement
“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.” 1 Peter 4:10
We expect parents to serve with their God-given gifts and resources as tutors, field-trip coordinators,
graders, administrators, classroom aides, room moms, set-up and clean-up crew, etc. To establish
commitment and excellence, some positions such as director and tutor are paid positions. Some tutors may
not be parents. However, our desire is to hire parents as tutors within our cooperative as much as possible.
At home, we expect parents to assist their students in completing academic assignments. We expect
students to turn their work in on time each week. As children grow into teens they desire more friends and
activities, and we want to provide Godly friends for them within our community of believers. We are
unashamed about being conservative Christians living with the Bible as our guide and handbook.
We desire to have an intimate, small-town feel, and as a result, large numbers are not our ambition. Please
be honest with yourself as to whether these expectations explained above are in alignment with your
homeschool goals. We want the right fit of families and students at PCC. Grammar classes and Dialectic
classes meet for 30 weeks. Rhetoric classes meet for 32 weeks.
